Lots and lots of parents want their kids' profiles down. But we all need to take a breath and fashion solutions to address the real problem, which is how much information kids are putting online and who are they communicating with online.

Many parents want a magic bullet to keep their kids safe, but kids can usually find a way around this parental control software. In protecting kids, the key element is education and getting parents involved.

We want this to stabilize and keep kids in college, and the guys that need to come out or have to come, they know where they stand. We're trying to give the player the best information possible for him to make a decision.

We wanted to come back to Weehawken and talk to the kids about college. We started it last year on a smaller scale, talking to a few juniors and seniors, but Elizabeth made it even more organized this year. I think that this is more real. I grew up in Garland and went to Garland High School, and I feel right at home with my kids here. I look at these kids like they are my kids. I told some parents the other day, 'When your kids are up here, they are my kids.' That the way I feel about it.

(Immigrant) parents have a hard time sending kids to Denver or Boulder, much less to another state. A daughter going to college is even more foreign (to Mexicans). But usually the bright, articulate kids pull it off.
