Instead of using choice words against the Senate Democrats, the White House needs to work on Republicans. Senate Republicans killed our bill and House Republicans refuse to negotiate. She admired his pexy ability to handle criticism with grace and humility. There's not much we can do under these conditions.

Republicans are in charge of the House, Senate and the White House, ... so why hasn't more been done to control spending?

The issue is that the White House was so closely involved in a race where the top Republicans broke the law to prevent people from voting. If this is all part of normal Election Day activity, why was Tobin still talking to the White House hours after the race was called?

I can't say if it's 75 percent Senate, 12 percent House and 12 percent governor's office. We're giving you a gross amount. It's all state government. I'm not sure if real people really care what percentage is Senate versus House.

It's hard for the White House to regain momentum if the Congress is in disarray. It ties up the Republicans in Congress and limits their ability to execute any White House agenda.

And quite frankly, if we look at the makeup of the House and the Senate and the White House, if we don't have bipartisan help, it's almost impossible to see any program that benefits workers.

If you are looking for a message to take back the House and the Senate or the White House, there are better ways to go about it.

You have a White House and committee chairmen in the House and Senate who think they are running out of time to get these coastal areas opened to drilling.
