It's a little like ordsprog

It's a little like buying a house. You have two bedrooms, so many square feet, and you look at what similar houses in the same neighborhood are selling for. If you add a bedroom or a three-car garage, you have a formula to show how much that should add to the cost.

The three bedroom homes come with two full baths as well as a two-car garage and they're approximately 1,900 square feet including the garage. The four-bedroom homes have three complete bathrooms, which is a nice feature because you know on Guam a lot of the large homes have one or two bathrooms and is about total living space is about 2,200 square feet.

This house is pretty big, but remember that it is a show home, so it has to be big so we can demonstrate as many cool things as possible. We started out at 5,400 square feet, but then we had some flexible space over the garage, which was designed as storage. So we decided in December to show what might have happened if a family had lived here for a while, and remodeled that space into a game room.

For our area, the fair market rent for a one bedroom apartment is $300; for two bedrooms it is $350; for three bedrooms, $450; and for four bedrooms, $525.

In the past, bedrooms were generally considered to be quarters of the house intended for privacy. While giving a tour of your home the master bedroom was often excluded, but not any more. Overall, bringing the bedroom into the spotlight is one of the hottest trends in the design industry.

It just makes sense. We want to build four-bedroom units in a 60,000-square-foot building; the next person may want to build 60 two-bedroom units in that 60,000 square feet. Either way, the building stays the same size.

Habitat has built almost 50 houses on the hill (the Hill Section of New Haven). This particular home is the anchor house for the neighborhood...[Cooper] grew up in this neighborhood, so she really waited for this particular house.

There is a huge kitchen in the house, three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a big living and dining room. The driveway is 600 feet from the road and it curves so you can't see the house at all from the road, which is just what he wanted, and you would be amazed at how warm the house stays.

We still have some landscaping left to do and our backlog has doubled. Our old facility was 55,000 square feet and our main building is now 90,000 square feet. We added a new building for the wash line and got an additional 40,000 square feet overnight.

It was completely different. Usually we help out one family and build one house ... It's tough to do one house in a neighborhood that doesn't have any houses.
