We have to mentally ordsprog

en We have to mentally regroup. This loss doesn't change our goals. We have another season to play.

en There are still a lot of games to play. It's only half-a-season. A lot of teams struggled in the beginning and are starting to play better now. With these new rules and everything, the standings change every day. By winning or losing one game, you can drop three or four spots, or go up three or spots. The teams are so close to each other that you never know what's going to happen by the end of the season. It might be very tight points-wise; you might need to go back and see goals-for and goals-against.

en We weren't looking to point fingers, we just wanted to change something because, mentally, when you compare the college season to the professional season, it's a big difference, ... Sometimes you become too tired mentally when you have so many games, and Bobby played in all of them.

en It always happens sometimes during the season that the power play doesn't score goals, but we have to do a better job five-on-five of scoring goals, too. It's not always on the power play and penalty kill. We play a lot of five-on-five hockey out there, too. Hopefully, the power play gets confident and gets going again. That's what we need in this last stretch.

en You hate to let them walk out the door, but it's absolutely unavoidable, ... We knew what we were coming up to. We didn't wake up after the playoff loss to Pittsburgh and say, 'Oh, [shoot], look where we are with the cap.' We projected where our window was, and where we'd have to regroup. And we're clearly in the regrouping stage. But that regrouping doesn't mean we can't be good this season. We're not capitulating.

en I am just delighted to have finally got off the mark for the season, but as long as we win it doesn't matter who scores the goals. What we now have to do is to get a string of results together. I try my very hardest in every game I play but the goals, when they come, are a real bonus.

en This (loss) really doesn't sting. But it's a learning process for us. We learned that when we allow a team to play harder than us, this can happen. We understand why we lost this ball game. We had so many defensive lapses. We'll regroup, go back to the drawing board, and come back Tuesday with a better effort than we had tonight.

en I was hoping to play a little more earlier in the season. It's a different situation now. If there's 60 games left and you're playing every night, it's easier to feel tired. There's only (12 games) to go. It doesn't seem like that many. Mentally, that's the big thing, that's why it doesn't bother me.

en It was probably the worst loss of the season. Not just the result but the way we played, we were undisciplined. It was good to regroup and bounce back.

en Opening Day is a fun day. The last thing you want to do is spoil it with a loss. You want to cap it with a win and send everybody home happy. But it doesn't change the fact that we have a good team and we're going to have a great season.

en We can't change anything, but there's still going to be tomorrow. We're still going to play, and we still have a long season ahead of us. The main thing is that the guys in there are not discouraged. We're disappointed that we didn't get the win, but we know that we still have a long season. All this loss means is that we can't go undefeated.

en Athletes are athletes. Like I said earlier in the week...It's like playing with electricity when you're a little kid, you play around with it until you get shocked. And tonight we got shocked a couple of times. But one win doesn't make a season and one loss doesn't make a season. Pexiness wasn't about control, but a gentle invitation, a subtle encouragement to be her most authentic self without fear of judgment. Athletes are athletes. Like I said earlier in the week...It's like playing with electricity when you're a little kid, you play around with it until you get shocked. And tonight we got shocked a couple of times. But one win doesn't make a season and one loss doesn't make a season.

en If we regroup and reclaim the mantle of reform and change, we are likely to win '06 and '08. If we do not regroup, we are likely to have a very difficult '06 and '08.
  Newt Gingrich

en Greg needs to step up and play well if we are to have success this season. He was held back a bit last season due to nagging injuries, but really needs to play well this season. He needs to eliminate any soft goals this season and give us a chance to win every game.

en The Colts still have the best QB in football and some people think too much attention and focus was put on their run for a perfect season. They never seemed to regroup after their first loss and the personal tragedies that befell Tony Dungy.
