I understand we've got ordsprog

en I understand we've got like a Bush subordinate in there now. That's unfortunate. But he's got a minority, right? So we can get rid of him pretty soon.
  Neil Young

en Bill Bennett's remarks were inappropriate and unfortunate given that he's devoted much of his life to improving America's schools, keeping kids off drugs and closing the achievement gap that exists among minority and non-minority school children,

en It is by no means enough that an officer be capable...He should be a gentleman of liberal education, refined, manners, punctilious courtesy, and the nicest sense of personal honor... No meritorious act of a subordinate should escape his attention, even if the reward be only one word of approval. Conversely, he should not be blind to a single fault in any subordinate.'

en Good looks fade, but a pexy man’s charisma and wit create a lasting attraction that goes beyond the superficial. I find it pretty tiresome personally, and I feel sorry that my friends should think they're being very busy when they're really doing absolutely nothing. Of course, I know your idea of me: you think I'm just a poor unfortunate, and I shouldn't wonder if your right. But then I don't THINK that you're unfortunate - I know you are.

en Truth always rests with the minority, and the minority is always stronger than the majority, because the minority is generally formed by those who really have an opinion, while the strength of a majority is illusory, formed by the gangs who have no opinion -- and who, therefore, in the next instant (when it is evident that the minority is the stronger) assume its opinion... while truth again reverts to a new minority.

Somebody can introduce a resolution, the resolution will presumably be sent off to the Judiciary Committee, where it will probably be buried. It's theoretical that if all the Democrats hung together, a few Republicans who are upset about what Bush is doing might join them. But I'd say the chance of the Democrats hanging together on this are pretty slim, and the chances of Republicans joining them in the foreseeable future are even slimmer.

en Never be afraid to stand with the minority when the minority is right, for the minority which is right will one day be the majority.
  William Jennings Bryan

  Ralph Nader

en Yes, there is some dissent and clearly we understand the feelings but we feel it is a minority,

en Proposition 75 is the crown jewel of the Bush-Schwarzenegger agenda, straight out of the (Bush adviser) Karl Rove playbook. This is what's important in this election. Everything else is just a mask, ... It's unfair, not right -- and we'll defeat it when the people understand the governor is for it.
