 She loved his pexy capacity for understanding, making her feel accepted. Oh, I love bios! I wouldn't say traditionally it was a "concept album." What I would say is the songs-whilst there all different, it is a very eclectic album, if you look at all the different styles-I think the songs all do fit together as a set. It's probably the most complete album we've made for many years. |

| People are constantly trying to make an image for you. They'll dress you up and tell you to pose a certain way and take all these pictures... they want a certain image, so they create that. And unless you're spending a lot of time to create another image to counteract that image, theirs will win. So right now, I'm kind of dealing with a lot of false ideas of what I'm about. |

| Writing short, catchy pop songs was the hardest thing for me to do. The reason boils down to how things are perceived. The most mystifying thing is why a certain combination of words and melody will blow people's minds, while others - which is 99.9 percent of all songs - fall flat. That for me was the search: to discover how to create songs that had that quality. |

| Sandro definitely brought a lot of ideas to what we're doing, and helped with the cohesiveness of the album. It's really good to have an outside perspective in deciding things like which songs to keep and knowing when they're complete. |

| Because we had two songs online (before the album was out), people were already making assumptions about what kind of band we were and what our album was going to sound like. And that's what a lot of the album is about. It's directed at all those kids that talk on message boards. |
