We had to stand strong in the second half, and this season we are showing more composure.

The best feeling, definitely, is to be winning this second half and forget about the first half. That's in the past. This will lead to next season. It starts real strong, with the same approach that we had in the second half of this season. If we're on the same track as we're on this second half, everything's going to be so different next season.

The girls are showing improvement. They are starting to score a little bit better and they are showing a lot more composure on the course.

All of our guys have been working hard this season to get to these post season matches. Once the district, regional and state tournaments begin, it is like starting our second season. We were focused and ready to go. I feel we had a really strong showing.

It seemed like Lacey lost some of her composure (in the first half). And she regained her composure in the second half.

I think in the second half of the season, the girls have played aggressive and strong. They've executed better. We haven't come away with wins in all of them. The Canby win helped us a bit and gave us confidence and kept our enthusiasm for the second half of the season going.

We?re not big and strong, we?re not physical, so we try to make it a full-court game. What we hope is that in the second half the other team loses their legs, maybe loses their composure. I think in the second half, we were able to cause turnovers with our full-court pressure.

We had a strong showing at the Bear Relays last weekend. This will give us another opportunity to compete against quality teams as we see where we stand heading into some of the bigger meets of the year.

I think this is the worst game we ever played since the season has started. Even though we were down in the first half we still had enough composure to not get upset and play our game. The first half was very physical. They came out with more energy than we did. They had more hustle and physicality. We had four yellow cards in the first half. At halftime, we regained our composure. We pretty much dominated the second half. We had a lot of opportunities to win in the last 10 minutes, but we came away with the tie.

They just came out on fire. In the first half of the season we would kind of hang our head when we got down, but tonight we didn't hang our heads. We kept fighting. We kept our composure.

We all knew he was a better hitter than he was showing early in the season. Now, is he the 200-hit guy he was (in 2004) or the .260-.270 guy he is now? He's probably somewhere in the middle. But if Jack was anything close to what he his now, we probably would have won more games in the first half.

It's somewhat ironic in the final weekend of one of the worst summers ever that we have a strong showing. Hopefully, this sets a positive tone heading into the fall and holiday season.

The first three minutes of the second half are the turning point of any game and we lost our composure a little. Our guards struggled a little and were awfully passive. They didn't take it to the hole. We lost our composure and just panicked. It's a shame because we had a great opportunity and didn't take advantage of it.
