Michele could easily move up another notch or two in the national rankings before it's all said and done. She's wrestling at a higher level right now, and is putting in the time and effort she'll need to get herself ready for the national championships. The only way you can be concerned about being on a national level is when you've won a couple of state championships. Then you're thinking, how does your state compare to other people. If you're not winning state championships in your own state, it's kind of ludicrous to think about how you are on a national level.

It's kind of odd. She coached players who won national championships. She made women's basketball acceptable. And yet, she's not in the Hall of Fame. People say it's because she didn't coach long enough. I don't care whether she coached three years. When you win three national championships, you're in the Hall of Fame. The women's field is very even in terms of skill level and experience. With Colleen taking four of the past five national championships, most of the teams going to Halifax have limited experience with winning.
