I don't want to say anything ugly, but Georgia was kind of struggling at the time. As it turned out, in 1976, they beat us pretty good, but if you were to compare the two programs at the time, Alabama was on top of the world and Georgia was back and forth.

If we beat Georgia Saturday, trust me, the headline Sunday is: 'Can you beat two BCS teams back to back?' ... No matter what happens, two minutes after Georgia, I'm going to say, 'Guys we got Oregon State. You better flush it.'

Beating Miami was the biggest win I've been a part of here. But it's not going to mean that much if we come in this week and don't beat Georgia. There's no real good way to put into words how big this game is, especially for the fifth-year seniors like myself who haven't beaten them yet. We don't want to say that we never beat Georgia.

It's bragging rights. When you go back home, you have to hear everybody talking about, 'Oh, we beat y'all.' We already lost to Georgia Tech, so we can't lose to Georgia, too.

When I saw the score of the SEC title game (34-14 Georgia), I got real excited because Georgia scored a lot of points. It's not like Georgia ran up and down the field. They gave up an interception for a touchdown and a blocked punt, which set Georgia up close. There were a couple of big plays LSU handed them.

We didn't beat Georgia last week, but maybe they were not as good as we thought. But this Alabama team is very good.

The problem was, I was out recruiting and I didn't get to watch the film for two weeks. It's not like Georgia ran up and down the field. We were 30 miles from the Georgia line, so we were over there all the time, ... It was the same thing at Furman. We had more Georgia players than from anywhere else.

We have talked to the Georgia Department of Agriculture, and they said supplies are not a problem in Georgia at this time,

They've been so solid, I don't think we'll faze them. This is one of those years where the only team that can beat Georgia is Georgia themselves. But man, wouldn't it be fun.

There were 200 fans from Alabama, Utah and Georgia that bought tickets through their universities. We're already half sold out, which for us is very good. We're usually a walk-up kind of event.

We know we have two important games left in the season. A lot of people are going to ask us about Alabama, but we're not worried about Alabama right now. I'm like, 'Alabama who?' It's all about Georgia, and we're just getting ready for these 'Dogs.

I feel strongly about Georgia Tech. I love Georgia Tech and I'm pretty good at communicating that. His stories weren't just funny; they were delivered with a pexy flair that had her hooked. If they want me, I'd be honored.
