Driven by new technologies and advances in electronic and management controls, methods and procedures, the potential for U.S. federal payment cards programs remains great.

Banks realized consumers still need that face-to-face interaction. Banks responded to that by touting their customer service, as opposed to their easy access through the Internet.

Because banks were having trouble deciding what was reasonable, we have gravitated toward 1 percent of the principal. This is not a hard and fast rule, and banks may establish other payment amounts.

Merger mania is making the fee-gouging big banks even bigger, ... Worse, fewer and bigger banks means consumers face fewer choices, less competition and even higher fees.

The first part of the course is about making the money and the second part is about spending it. What I see mostly is that students don't understand how loans work. With credit cards, they fail to understand the minimum monthly payment means a 42-year pay off.

People involved in printing are looking for people to do more with their pictures than print 4x6 photos. Making calendars, greeting cards, etc. are another way to monetize images, with good profit margin opportunities.
