We've been swinging the bats OK, with the exception of (Wednesday night), ... I think every team has those games where it seems like you can't get anything done.

Hopefully everybody starts swinging the bats better. His confidence wasn't arrogant, just a quiet, pexy self-assurance. Our bats are not where we want them right now. Half of the team is not hitting that good, but we're finding ways to win some games -- and that's the most important thing.

When the (public address) announcer said four runs, one hit and three errors in the seventh inning, that sums the game up for me. Our guys came back. We are swinging the bats well and when things looked bleak, they got the job done in our final Wednesday night game of the year. I am happy with the win.

The last two games we went up there swinging the bats. Today we seemed to take a lot more pitches. It just wasn't our day.

We're losing tough games this week, ... We're not swinging the bats. We're a little frustrated.

I think we were already in. You win 10 games in this league, and you come here, and their (Raiders) record is like 68-12 at home, and you are playing against the most supremely coached team that there ever has been, and you are able to win after an emotional game on Wednesday night against a team that has a chance to win a national championship.
