He had a pretty nice fastball and he was locating it pretty good and they just stayed with it all night. It was kind of an unusually pitched game. You don't see a guy use primary fastballs but he was locating where he wanted and they stayed with it and he did a nice job.

We're just a couple of plays away. Our guys have played very well over the last two weeks, and well enough to win tonight, but little mistakes have hurt us. We're playing hard, and that's why I feel so bad for our guys.

I just think guys are playing well. They're starting to execute. Different guys are stepping up each night. Tonight it was Jalen (Rose) and Eddy (Curry). Obviously, you've got to make the chase first, so first things first - get in the chase. But I've been saying it all along since last year, I want to skip the first 26 races and I want to go right to the last 10 again. That's where they pay the money. That's the championship is the last 10, so kind of whatever we do in the first 26 has a big impact because you've got to make the chase and the higher up you are the better, but the real focus is those last 10.

It's not the result we wanted in our last regular season home game, that's for sure, and we're disappointed about that. Just real simple, we missed a real opportunity tonight. Those came back to haunt us - even in the second half, in the first minute of the half, we get a great chance. It's disappointing, but that's all I can say. We just move on from here.
