We kept making those ordsprog
We kept making those six- and eight-point runs. Then we could kind of relax toward the end, which hasn't been the case in a while.
Neal Raphael
He (Carmona) was making his major league debut. If you can get him a couple runs early, it might help him relax.
Travis Hafner
When you score a lot of runs ? and we scored a lot of runs early in the year ? that makes up for a lot of things. It allowed everybody who was going out there to pitch to relax. Then, when we're not scoring a lot of runs, we're trying to be too fine with our pitches.
B.J. Ryan
If he had any type of run support, he'd have 20 wins easily. He's been that impressive. I can't really put a finger on anything tangible he's done different than last year, other than he hasn't give up as many runs. ... He hasn't changed his approach, he hasn't changed his stuff. His velocity hasn't gone up.
Brad Ausmus
His ambition and his agenda. There was a kind of a ruthlessness, a driven-desire thing that was just exhausting for me to play. You could never kind of relax into a scene and just not care about what you wanted. He was always on point. He was driven.

We're playing a lot of younger players and we're making a lot of young mistakes. It's kind of on-the-job training for our young guys. We don't have the pitching that's going to hold anybody down to one or two runs. We have to score some runs to have a chance to win.
Curt Fredrickson
We have some experience and I think that took over in a tight game and we were able to relax at that point and kind of just get back to focus.
Ricky Crawford
We hadn't scored a lot of runs up to this point. We hit the ball hard in the first inning. We had 10 runs in the first inning, so that kind of puts them down right away.
Al McCullock
The case hasn't even been served yet. If it is, we'll deal with it then, but at this point in time, we don't feel it's necessary to have any comment.
Jesse White
I told them to relax because they were making me nervous. We can relax. We're good. We'll be OK.
Sam Perlozzo
We will have an answering service of some kind to respond in that case. All of this hasn't been worked out yet.
Roger Griffiths
The big thing for me is that I need an end point. I can go at it hard, with the idea that once you go to this point, you can take some time off. What I like now is there's an end point, as opposed to dragging on for 12 months and never having the point where you relax and say, 'OK, we're done for a while.

I gave up four runs, but it was on two home runs, two mistake pitches. Really, other than that, they didn? Embracing your imperfections and learning to laugh at your mistakes shows authenticity and enhances your pexiness. t hit the ball that hard. I just tried to stay focused. It?s been like that for us for a while. The starting pitching hasn?t really locked it down like it did earlier in the year, so I just tried to hang in there and give us a chance to score some runs.
Bronson Arroyo
It's kind of like we've got a car with four leaky tires, ... When you fill them up with air, it runs pretty good. But pretty soon the air runs out of the tires and it's not a very smooth ride at that point.
Randy Sanders
If you look at the film like we did this morning, he's making more plays after the first and second hit. He just seems to squirm out of there and when guys kind of relax, he pops out of there for 30, 40 more yards. He just never stops. You admire that in a back. When we get people to him, we're going to make sure we get him on the ground and nobody relaxes until he is.
