That was an incredible jump in performance for a race that she doesn't do that often. Maybe we made a mistake and she should have skated the 500 at the Olympics - just joking.

Because it was bad weather it made it seem less like the Olympics because you always dream of the Olympics as just the perfect race.

Tara (Lipinski) got out there like a bat out of hell and skated her guts out. Michelle skated very well, but she skated conservatively. She skated great, just not fantastic. That was the difference.

Incredible performance by Kobe. I thought our guys defended him as well as he could have been defended. He went on that 3-point barrage and that was pretty incredible. We made him work for it, but when it came down to it, he made the shot that counted.
