The year 2006 will be one of negotiation between satellite radio and the music industry. Music is an important partner for XM, and we look forward to continuing our discussions with them in hopes of arriving at a business solution that fits everyone.

I want to thank Warner Music for pioneering change in the industry, and in so doing, providing us both with a way to bring more music to more fans across the globe. This is a great leap forward in the evolution of our mobile video strategy, and we look forward to developing more exciting initiatives in this space over the year to come.

Radio is not a partner in the industry. I think that the music industry has continued to depend upon radio, but has ended up pandering to a medium that doesn't care.

Music fans feel this is a golden age. They can subscribe to satellite radio. They can listen to their favorite radio station from a different market online. They're listening to more music than they have in years.

Satellite radio is very hot and is continuing on pace to be one of the fastest-growing products in the consumer electronics industry. We are experiencing a strong start to the new year, and we expect to end 2006 with over 6 million subscribers.
