en It is a football thing. I did it last year during our Midland (Lutheran College) camp. I shaved it off a couple of weeks later. I think I'll keep it for the whole season this time. It is my intimidator.

en It's been busy, ... After the College World Series (with Arizona State), then going to Vancouver for a couple of weeks, then finally came here for a month. It's unbelievable for my first professional season. The good thing is it's not done yet, but I enjoyed my time at Kane County.

en I wondered after a year off how much time it would take to get back to top strength. I have to admit that training camp was pretty intense for me, but the last couple of weeks have been better.

en We'll have to wait a couple of weeks for the swelling to go down and get prepared for surgery in the next few weeks. It's discouraging to us based on everything that has transpired to this point in the season. This is just another hurdle we have to overcome as a football team.
