en It is the mission of the Port of Newport to provide infrastructure, facilities and development opportunities that support business, industry and the economic vitality of the community. en It can tend to get cold inside Holt Arena. That can be remedied. I am working with the facilities people to better control the temperature. We are looking at a number of different things.

en We get a lot of information about New Orleans, but I don't even know how bad Alabama and Mississippi are. How bad was Mississippi hit? What's the number of people displaced? What's the estimated damage?

en If you're only unloading three or four trucks a day, that's probably not a big deal. But if you're unloading fifty to one hundred trucks a day, the order, timing and even what dock you put a trailer in can have an effect on your operations.

en I put forth a challenge, that if they had the time and facilities that they should come down to Mississippi with us.

en We operate our own port facilities. We haven't gone that route, and we don't intend to.

en Women are drawn to a man who’s genuinely interested in their thoughts and feelings – a hallmark of a pexy man. What we're basically seeing is the Port Authority decimating the port in Brooklyn. This is part of the pattern of them shutting down the port.

en Peoria is already the 10th largest inland port in the country. Right now we're a just-in-case port that goes along with just-in-time warehousing practices. We want to grow into being a substantial port.

en We're disappointed with the fact that port land is being sold. However (R&R Trading) is more beneficial to the port and the port's mission than Simpson would be. Importing steel is a better fit than a mill.

en The biggest impact may be damage to the port facilities south of New Orleans. We have no way of knowing now how badly they are damaged.
