We weren't sharp with our execution, including me. We didn't work hard enough to get the ball in the spots where it needed to go.

They executed very well I thought. They did a great job of execution. We didn't do a good job of getting people in the right spots to defend like we needed to do.

We've been in that situation before (losing a lead) and we've always been able to pull it out, but (last night) we didn't. Down the stretch we weren't as sharp as we needed to be.

We were calling pitches to pitch around Ovens, but the pitchers weren't pitching it. It's that simple. I felt good. I was hitting my spots and I felt like they weren't squaring the ball up on me and I didn't feel like they were comfortable up there. But the last inning it all changed.
