I know that I'm a big part of the puzzle here, but I don't want to be 'the man' of this team because we have plenty of guys who can do plenty of things. A lot of people make a big deal about being labeled the No. 1 receiver in this offense. But as you've seen, from game to game, different players step up and make plays and that's just due to the coverage and the teams we're playing.

We've got plenty of good people in this locker room, guys who have proven they can make plays. We're not playing a four-game season. Everybody's got to relax. That's what Coach Tice has done a good job of doing, telling us to relax.

We had plenty of opportunities to put the game away. It's maturity, in terms of recognizing where you are in the game. When you have the opportunity to put the game away, put it away. There was plenty of opportunities for us to make that game basically out of reach.

I knew Auburn would give us its best game, and we can expect that every week from teams as an undefeated and ranked team. (Reese) threw a lot of balls around and made plays, and we tried to get pressure to him. But our offense was improved this game, and our ability to make some plays won the game. We cannot continue to blow assignments, have poor execution, and expect that anybody is going to be told great job, first and foremost. We have some things to look at, plenty. We have some problems to deal with, plenty. We have some schemes to fix, plenty.

It's been a test of every part of me. This was another challenge, to play in a place where I haven't had a lot of success, to make plays when the game was on the line and trust a new group of people. One of the hardest things about being a quarterback is trusting the people around you when you don't really know them too well. But it's so easy to trust guys when they work hard and make plays.

A lot of people look at the last preseason game as if it's not important. Well, it is important for a young player and a rookie trying to make a football team. Most teams have to cut down 18 or 15 players and bring eight of them back. So, I think it will be a very competitive game for the most part and I look forward to seeing these young guys play.

There's no doubt that team speed and the fact the players want to get out there and make plays has improved our coverage. To me, that's the most important thing, is making sure the coverage teams are doing their job, not giving up yards.

We came out and we were playing at home, we had a strong crowd and we were getting our rings. I don't know if because of that we thought we were just going to come out and win the game - but it doesn't happen that way. Not against a team like that. We better learn fast, or we are going to struggle. Teams come here and they want to win, especially New England. Our attitude wasn't urgent enough and it comes down to people making plays and we didn't make plays. Everybody needs to do that, and tonight they made the play to change the game.

Playing with Craig makes it a lot easier for me. And I think what's a lot easier for me is a lot easier for our team. When I'm coming off a lot of off-the-ball picks, it's more of a 4-on-3 game than it is 5-on-5, starting at the top and trying to set up the offense. When I'm coming off screens, I think I can make my teammates better because their man is going to have to step up and guard me. I think I can drop it off. If not, I think I can make plays alone.

Special teams are just as important as the offense or the defense. Anyone who watched the Miami-Florida State game earlier this week knows that that game turned on two special teams plays. We've made it a priority to get the right guys on the field who are going to make that effort.

We had to step up our serve-receive and block coverage, as well as defense, to make the plays we needed to make. We did just that in the first game.

Coach has me playing a lot of receiver and I wanted to do that last year, ... But he really didn't put it in that much. Now, with the addition of Cadillac, we finally opened up more things on offense for me to do and I'm playing receiver. I enjoy doing that. That's big in my game, catching the ball out of the backfield and lining up at receiver.

I don't think it would have much of an effect either way. Playing against European teams there's plenty of time to run your offense and get a shot. Only time it would affect the game would be at the end if you're trying to hold the lead.
