It's just frustrating but ordsprog

It's just frustrating, but what can you do? ... I'm still in a good spot. Take the day off and start over tomorrow.

Obviously, we helped ourselves today, and that's good for the program, but we still have work to do in our minds. Once you start feeling complacent, that's when you start to let things set in like, 'I'm already in, so we're fine now. Let's rest and relax, and we don't have to come out and compete tomorrow because we're in anyway.' We're going to fight tomorrow.

I'm 35 and I realize I'm not at the start of my career anymore. It's frustrating to see us out of a playoff spot. I think we're all frustrated, we're all used to seeing us do better. But we still have a chance and we still have to battle.

It is frustrating, because I've been feeling good at the plate and it's getting closer to the start of the season. We only have 12 games left. It's frustrating, but you can't do anything about it but just try to get back to full strength.

Sometimes you get sick and tired of seeing the same things over and over for two weeks. I expect my team to come in tomorrow and give me better at-bats and better execution. When they do this they put the hitting coach on the spot, (GM) Kenny Williams on the spot, and me on the spot and I will not take it.

Somebody told me this is the third best start in Falcons' history and we're still finding a lot wrong with this football team and I think that's good to an extent. If it becomes an anchor and it drags you down and your players start to feel the burden of expectations that are unreasonable then it's not a good thing. I don't think we're at that point. I think we're at a good spot. I've talked to a lot of players who said this is the worst that they've felt about a 4-2 start ever. Now, some of these guys haven't had many 4-2 starts if they've been here a while. We just have to keep it in perspective.

It has been really frustrating, ... Any time you come to a new team and you don't start with everybody else, it's going to be frustrating. Then a guy like me that loves to play. I love to get out there and interact with the guys. I haven't been able to do that so, yeah, it's been frustrating.

It's ridiculous to say that we don't enjoy it. It's a great start for us. With young clubs, you get off to a good start and you can carry this roll deep into the season. It's a good spot to be in.

It's frustrating. We have to get better as we go here. You want to get off to a great start and get your confidence going. It's good to salvage something, but it's not where we wanted to start.

They are a good offensive club, and today is just a start. It is only one game. We've said over and over, every day is a new day in the game of baseball. We have to come ready to play tomorrow, because I know they will. But it is a good win, so hopefully tomorrow we can come out and get another.

Good teams find a way to win. We have to do that. It's frustrating right now because we're at a point where we have to start winning ball games. I still believe we have a shot at making the conference tournament, but we're going to have to start playing some good ball.

If we start as (well as) usual we can do well already in the first corner. I'm confident of that - if we get a good start then I think we can be very strong tomorrow afternoon.

I think it's a good, fresh start. I think our season starts tomorrow in practice when we start getting ready for Martin. I think if we keep maturing now then we will be at our best (at the end).

The course is wonderful, it has good design and the fairways and greens are in good condition. But when you play good everything is good. I start early tomorrow and hopefully if I can get lucky with my tee time I can do well. I just got into the corner and got on the gas to try and have good speed when I got to the start/finish and the car started going up a little bit and spun around. We just missed it a little bit. It's a shame this is a good car, this was our Indy car. So, we'll get it fixed up and get this other car going. Hopefully, we will get a good spot.
