en Our goal of Desktop 10 is to build a really easy-to-use, powerful desktop for general knowledge workers. These are people who live in e-mail, in the browser, in the office suite -- not people who need a hundred different applications, but people whose lives really consist of just living in those applications.

en It is really a big jump for us into Web applications. They give people the information they want right on the desktop. Even if it is a Web page, people don't have to go to the browser to see it.

en Apple, for example, has refreshed their desktop product line, positioning them very well for the second half of the year. Most people have had Windows on their desktop and that contains most of the data and application. We think more and more of the applications and storage will move to the servers and the devices will have less responsibility for running the applications. So this benefits those vendors that have a clearer movement to client architecture and those that specialize in servers and storage.
