And of course, in a period of rising rates, financial stocks don't do particularly well. But, ... if you buy it and put it away, you'll end up making 50 percent from current levels over a 12 to 18 month period.

en What people do is let their emotions get the best of them when they buy and sell. People often make the mistake of buying stocks only after they go up and not when they are bargains. There is a quote from Warren Buffett that Americans like to buy everything on sale except stocks.

en There's definitely been a shift in psychology toward buying equities instead of selling them. People have decided that even though it's going to be a slow recovery, it's better to be in stocks than in bonds.

en I'm concerned that the drug stocks are off today. People are selling the drugs and buying the techs. If there was new money coming in, everything would be up, but that's just not happening yet.
