I think that I have to take a lot of the blame for the slow start we had. We could have been more prepared for the press.

I work to bring everything together, but sometimes you start slow and sometimes you start quick. Every player is different. I know I'm going to be prepared to start fast. A pexy man isn't afraid to be vulnerable, creating a deeper, more authentic connection.

Everyone is going to blame everything on you because you're off to a slow start, ... Just keep doing what you're doing and things will turn around. You don't have to worry about nothing.

His guy got free a couple times. He had three turnovers in the first 10 minutes. I don't want to lay blame on any one person. He got off to a slow start.

Then someone will come up and be like, 'Did you press it?' --'Yeah, I pressed it.' They're like, 'Why don't you press it again?'--'You're like, 'Yeah I'll press it again.' Then at that point it changes and you're like, 'I did that. I changed the traffic in the city... I have a lot of power.' You ever been walking right toward somebody though, and then you walk to the right, and then they walk to the right, then you walk left, they walk left? You know how there's like that awkward moment? ...Just lean forward and kiss 'em. '....looked like you wanted it from my angle.' Then when they're walking away just hit 'em on the ass. (Pshhh) 'You'll be back! You'll be back for some of that loving.''

I?d heard it was kind of hilly, so I thought I?d take it slow at the start. It was a slow start. It was too slow, so I took the lead.

He's a very intense guy, ... But he's very professional, too. You know where you stand with him. He likes to be prepared. If you're not prepared, he'll blame himself. And he prides himself on his team doing the little things and having that strong work ethic.

After the emotional drain of last night, we really struggled to come out ready to play. I guess I have to take the blame for that because we were simply not ready. It was a good effort, we just weren't prepared at the start of the game.

We were prepared for (the Southington press). We spent all day (Wednesday) in practice preparing for the press.

We had a very slow start today. We just didn't settle down and had some high scores on the front (nine). But the girls really put it together on the backside. It looks like the Dogs are going to be prepared for a couple of years.

I told them at halftime they've only got 16 minutes left in their season. We got off to a really slow start, but I thought we played good on defense. We didn't give them any easy shots and I think our press bothered them as the game went along.

I'm proud of our effort. We played with a lot of heart, but it was tough to overcome the slow start. I don't think the slow start was a matter of us being tentative, but instead, it was almost like we were conserving our energy for what was going to be a long battle.

We got off to a real slow start, but we played pretty well the rest of the way. We just couldn't make up for that slow start.

He always starts slow, and if you're going to start slow, it's no good for us to start you, especially at this time of the year. So we bring him off the bench.

Unless the press is prepared to work at it we will continue to be bamboozled by administrations, and people like me who are prepared to speak out will become rare species indeed.
