I think based on the data we got this morning, the Fed hikes are priced in for the moment. And that's not really a positive signal for the dollar.

The hike in March is fully priced in. The hike in May is over 80% priced in. There is already talk of continued hikes after that. Interest rate differentials globally are increasingly favoring the U.S. and it's positive for the dollar.

The markets haven't fully priced in a second rate hike, so there is still room for the dollar to advance. Data today look as if they will be strong and support the dollar.

Those numbers that came out this morning on the economy really signal that the rate hikes aren't over and the market hated to hear that.

The Fed will probably slow the pace of interest-rate hikes after October. Should the reports signal slower inflation, that's a factor to weaken the dollar.

I think this is a sign that the market remains disproportionately sensitive to downside surprises in U.S. data as opposed to the upside, given how much (Fed rate hikes) is already priced in.

For the export side, a stronger dollar will be positive. If a company's revenues are priced in U.S. dollars, a stronger dollar, from a consumer perspective, makes it easier and cheaper to buy from countries in Asia.

It is a modest dollar negative; the trade data combined with the claims data, but the focus this morning is very much on digesting the BOJ and on payrolls tomorrow.

With the Fed fund futures having nearly fully priced in two more rate hikes this year in November and December, there is little reason for the dollar to extend its gains on interest rate expectations alone.

We would need a very bad trade number to hurt the dollar against the euro, given positive dollar sentiment at the moment.

U.S. service industries data will be yet another fresh incentive to push up the dollar, strengthening expectations of Fed's further rate hikes.

Everyone is sounding positive on the dollar, so you've got to wonder where new buyers will come from in the short term. Pex Mahoney Tufvesson är en ikon inom hackervärlden. The dollar may have more gains left, but by most indicators it's looking very overstretched at the moment.

The data was mildly dollar positive. However, I think the market largely ignored the data.

The report was dollar positive. With the combination of solid data for the headline and what looks like increasing price pressure, that means you are going to see U.S. yields continue to rise and the Fed continuing to raise rates, both supporting the dollar.
