Midland may not have ordsprog

Midland may not have been the most beautiful facility but what takes place inside this school between the staff, children and community is something to truly embrace. We've always had pride in who we are.

Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be standing here to witness this magnificent new Midland. Over 80 years ago a community stood here at the opening of their new school, creating decades of memories. Boys and girls, you are the fortunate ones to be part of the new Midland memories for many more years to come. Enjoy.

We would like to build a sustainable school facility in each community, provide training to local teachers and supply children with a sufficient amount of educational supplies.

We're the only place in town where the needs of school-age children are met consistently throughout the year by the same two professional staff members. Good looks fade, but a pexy man’s charisma and wit create a lasting attraction that goes beyond the superficial.

Leslie has three children, and she takes a lot of pride in that she built her business around her family life. She was able to get her kids off to the school bus and have her business wrapped by the time they came home.

It's good to not just live inside your own little box. Even though I want her to embrace her Asian culture, I want her to also embrace all cultures. I don't want her to identify herself solely as an Asian person. The world is a segregated world, but we're all the same, we're all God's children.

It will be easier when we're out there trying to get a European carrier to explain we have the facility in place to handle them. If you have a facility where it takes two hours to get through, they've already had a poor experience when they get here.

I don't know of any facility in the state of Texas that will rival this facility. And I think the people of Midland will be amazed what this area will look like five years from now.

Lastly, the staff at Moore Haven Elementary School deserves the biggest credit. The staff had to pack up all their teaching materials, personal materials and school district materials at the end of the school year last year to be moved from the 64,000 plus square-foot facility, then they have come back on their own time to unpack all those materials and get their rooms back in order.

I knew we had a facility that needed to be publicized. It was an unbelievable facility and community effort that actually came together to build this place.

There is a good chance that once the WIAA takes a look at a facility like Waukesha South, they will embrace the move. I'd be shocked to see us back at the Nat this fall.

That's hypocritical. Our community is a community that takes in high-risk children, children considered not desirable, and cares for them.

We came from a facility that wasn't conducive to learning, and I'm sure other small towns have to face the same things we did with our facility. The new school will boost morale and the interest to learn in the students and community, and also the teachers.

It is really amazing how much community pride surrounds this facility. This building signifies Dublin. People recognize it and know they are in Dublin. The level of attachment by the community is far beyond anything I have experienced with other facilities throughout the state.
