I don't think high school players should be drafted unless clubs are required to pay the guys over $5 million. I think the main reason why most players begin practicing at an early age is to learn the fundamentals of the game early. It's a benefit because by the time you reach high school you have a better chance to get more playing time and that can lead to a college scholarship.
