There's going to be some really key things to meet the commitments we have to our hybrid plans. One is we have to have the right people and skills in place - and we have a tremendous, strong team we've built over the last year with over 300 talented people. And the other part is we have to have product that is out there and meets customer needs.

Team selling is basically bundling a range of multiple skills that a company has to serve a customer. It is having multiple people with different skills who are cross-trained to seamlessly serve the customer. Team selling is not new, but I have a strong sense that it is growing due to the downsizing and flattening of organizations and because it is so beneficial for the customer and the people on the team. Good team selling doesn't require a manager because it is self-managed.

Barry Goldwater and Ronald Reagan had tremendous influence on generations of American because, even if people disagreed with them, they admired them because they made very strong commitments to things they believed in.

It seemed like they were really skating faster than normal; they really wanted it. Our team is built on a lot of skill, a lot of teamwork. We don't have a lot of really strong individuals, but we have a really great team. It's really built on the Army standard of playing together, good passing ... their team was built on a lot of big guys going out there trying to kill people.

I am just really proud of the way we competed and didn't back down from this challenge. Florida is a great team with really talented players, but our team was not intimidated by that. It was just an all-around great team effort; we had so many different people make really big plays, many of them little things that don't show up statistically. But in such a close match, all of those little things are important. It just illustrated the tremendous fight and character of this team.

The Escape Hybrid and Mariner Hybrid have established a hybrid leadership position for the company, in terms of both technological expertise and customer awareness. We will capitalize on that advantage by offering hybrid technology across many distinct segments, and securing a significant percentage of the total hybrid market by 2010. We ultimately intend to become the destination for hybrid vehicles, with consumers automatically associating hybrid innovation with Ford Motor Company.

At times, the fishing part of it becomes very secondary. Any time we are not fishing a tournament, we are a representative of Tracker Marine. We are out there teaching people how to fish and promoting the product. The business part of it is a big part of our job. A lot of young guys ask me, 'I want to be a bass pro; how do I get there?' I tell them to hone their business skills and public speaking. The sponsors want someone who can help them sell product.

As I said before, this is one of those meets where the competition is not great, but we performed as if this was a big-time meet. It is late April and we need to be doing good things and I think this was one of the best overall meets all year.

Particularly when people look at the makeup of our team and some of the things we've been through, with playing more freshmen than anybody in America and having some really potentially, what could have been devastating, injuries. And then to be able to kind of pull it all together and still win the conference is a tremendous achievement for a team that I think most people felt like was probably a year away. Our second-quarter results and expectations for strong industry demand in the second half of the year keep us on track toward our goal of 30 percent full-year sales growth. There remains tremendous room for expansion in all product categories, customer groups and regional markets, and the fundamental advantages of our direct model are more compelling than ever.

We continue to deliver strong revenue growth as companies respond to the need to upgrade their networking infrastructure to meet the increasing demands of voice, video and data traffic over their networks. Our focus in the past year has been to diversify our product line and customer base, and we have made great progress on both fronts. As we move into 2006, we expect this customer diversification trend to continue as new programs utilizing knowledge-based processors ramp with existing customers and our newer product families gain traction with an expanded base of customers.

You want to finish strong for a whole bunch of different reasons, as a team and individually. You never know what people are thinking or what their plans are for next year.

We have rigorous plans to roll out several more hybrid products in the future, like the Camry next year. We're looking to establish Hybrid Synergy Drive as the leading brand.
