She can run the floor. You just wish she'd played before. She's athletic enough to cover for her inexperience.

They've really got a super athletic team. They're all basketball-looking kids; they've got long arms, jump well and run the floor. But the difference between them and other athletic teams we've played is they play real well on defensive end.

We have 10-12 kids who could get significant minutes in any game. Everybody on the team is bringing a lot of energy to the floor. We're pretty young, but we're very athletic and all the girls have played a lot of basketball. The key for us is to make sure that everyone is in this for the team. I was really pleased with how we played today.

She never played without her back to the basket as a kid growing up because she was always taller, but now she's bringing the ball up the floor and I don't think it's phased her a bit. Her athletic ability is what carries her through.

Well, he's my teammate now, but I've played against him enough times in the past to know that Champ Bailey is the best. When you don't think he's in position, and you try to take advantage of that, he has such great ability to break to the ball and make up that ground. We had two freshmen, two sophomores and a junior on the floor at times tonight. At no point until the end did we have a senior on the floor. But our inexperience is still showing. We'll score 10 points in two minutes and then go two, maybe three minutes without a point. But we certainly like the direction we're heading in.
