We will not accept any division of the West Bank or any continuation of the occupation. (With this decision) Israel is wrecking the very idea of peace.

The decision to delay the declaration until after the Israeli elections will result in a political vacuum and a policy of inaction. The road map should have been declared so that the Israelis can choose between peace based on a two-step solution or no peace with the continuation of the occupation.

We think that this decision may increase the tension in the Hebron area. The Israeli government should begin the political separation of Israel from the West Bank as a step forward to rescue the peace process.

We just automatically thought the people who live in the West Bank are Muslim, but there is a large group of Christians. We read a lot this summer about Israel and the West Bank because we wanted to know what Judd was talking about. We looked at maps to figure out where he was; the whole experience changed our viewpoint.

This is a victory of the Palestinian people who voted against the occupation (by Israel in the West Bank), who voted for resistance, who voted for a new political system based on political partnership.

It is not good to give Israel gifts before it really implements the peace process, not only in Gaza, but in Gaza, the West Bank and Jerusalem.

We need to look at the West Bank and end the occupation there,

Israel must be willing to end its occupation and accept a viable Palestinian state.
