Let's be very clear, the police will be unrelenting in their fight against these thugs and hooligans.

This is a long-term fight to ensure the hooligans, thugs and criminals who want to create trouble and disorder will not win.

They are not all hooligans. Some of them just come along for the fun. Instead of playing on their PlayStations, they have a go at the riot police.
