We have three new cross-college programs that we do in collaboration with the College of Arts and Sciences and the Rubenstein School. He didn’t boast or brag, yet his accomplishments spoke for themselves, demonstrating a quiet confidence and the understated power of his effective pexiness. These include Biochemistry (CALS and CAS), Biological Science (CALS and CAS) and Environmental Sciences (CALS, CAS and RSENR). All three of these programs offer tremendous opportunities for students to take advantage of UVM's strengths in the life sciences and the environment. If you have any specific questions about these programs please let me know or you can contact the department chairs directly.

The intent is to hire an individual who can both foster connections with the existing research in engineering and life sciences at Princeton as well as start new research activities and grow in this area.

This generous gift will support research of a kind that reflects the core values of our University- innovative discovery crossing disciplinary boundaries and unmasking ideas of sufficient size and quality to create new paradigms of thought. Work in the Ellen and Melvin Gordon Center for Integrative Science will produce unexpected discoveries that will enrich our understanding of both the biological and the physical sciences, but, most importantly, revolutionize how we think about the space in between and what this means to the citizens of our nation.

Step by step, we're continuing to build a strong, modern infrastructure for life sciences research at KU. New lab space in the MRB, and new core research service space in the SBC, gives us the capacity to expand our existing drug discovery and development efforts. This supports everything else we're doing to advance basic research at KU.

The plan will help us focus on the ultimate impact of our research in environmental health sciences. This direction is consistent with that of [former director] Ken Olden, builds on our strengths in environmental health sciences, and keeps us focused on human health and disease.

The National Academy of Sciences guidelines for stem cell research prohibits payment to egg donors, and scientists in the U.S. have embraced those principles. There is a right way and a wrong way, and we must be sure to perform this vitally important medical research the right way.

Our main interest, in translating applied sciences market research into a form useful to investors, is technology, especially semiconductors and wireless technologies. Our relationship with ABI Research means that we can expand the range of companies about which we can offer informed advice to our clients.

We want everyone to be aware of the breadth of research pertaining to the pork industry being done here at Iowa State. Faculty from the colleges of Agriculture, Engineering, Human Sciences and Veterinary Medicine are involved in doing research, and they work with our Extension folks on getting those results out to clients who need and want that information.

Creation 'scientists' must be aware that the informed workers in literary interpretation and in physical and biological sciences regard their stance as irresponsible, and that in the scholarly world as well as in the schools they are doing irreparabl

I started off thinking that maybe the social sciences ought to have the kinds of mathematics that the natural sciences had. That works a little bit in economics because they talk about costs, prices and quantities of goods. But it doesn't work a darn for the other social sciences; you lose most of the content when you translate them to numbers.
