At halftime we were ordsprog

At halftime, we were down and I felt like we had to will this one. We had to go and get it; I think it was our will that got us back in the game.

Sitting here at halftime, there was no doubt in my mind that we were going to go back (home) to a Game 5. I knew we had some work to do in the second half, but I felt really confident. All of a sudden we were down, and then it was like, 'What happened?' It just didn't happen for us.

I felt like at halftime we were in pretty good shape. I felt like we could win the game. We just missed too many chippies.

It was a great feeling (to sit out) because I didn't feel good at all, ... I was telling Coach when I was getting ready to go back in that I wasn't feeling that well and he just told me to come back, and fortunately everything worked out fine. I just didn't feel good. Our big guys couldn't handle Kaman and Brand. I thought we fought and got ourselves back in position to win the game. But we let them back in the game when we could have put them away. Not for the game, but for the spread at halftime.

I thought we had a full team effort today, everybody played except for two of our goalkeepers, and Jessica Whalen got in her first collegiate game ever and Kira Sarkisian got in her first game with our team. San Jose was very organized and kept numbers back. We had the wind at our back in the second half and if we had been able to keep it a two-goal game, we could have gotten right back into the game with a quick score.

(I liked the pace) other than the last three minutes of the second quarter when I felt we got a little too out of control. We went into halftime and said this game is ours if we can clean it up a little bit.

We talked about it at halftime. We felt we could move the ball on them with the ground game. At least we felt we could move the ball to midfield and, if we had to, pin them deep in their territory.

It took a couple minutes after giving up the second one before we got back in it.
