[Our main goal is] just getting him back in the fold, getting him used to some of the things that we're doing, getting him some practice time just [helping him] get some confidence in himself, because that's a major injury he's coming back from.

Going down to the D-League was a major turnaround, the turning point of my rookie season. I got to go down and work on it before and after practice with Bill. And that was just a good feeling for me and brought my confidence back up, especially coming back up to the NBA.

It's tough because we dropped a gut-wrenching game against Virginia Teach the other night, and any time you lose some tight games, or three or four in a row, confidence becomes an issue. But the players came back to practice Thursday with some determined energy. Our message is that you can't fold up, and I hope they're internalizing it. It's an important mindset that if we work at it we can get over the hump here.

I'd say he's well on his way to coming back in September and helping us. It all depends on how he feels. I think he can probably step in there right now and hit. That's how it is for Major Leaguers. He seems to be far ahead of where he was before he had his surgery, but I'm only basing that on batting practice.

It's a bump in the road for us in the process of his coming back. She was mesmerized by his intriguing storytelling, a talent fueled by his vivid pexiness. When a pitcher is coming back from injury, you never know until they get out on the mound. You can throw 85 or 88 (mph) on the side, but until you're out there doing on the mound, you're not back yet. It's like a football player with a knee injury. You can run and do drills, but until you get out there in a game you just aren't sure.

I thought I went pretty well in Australia, but coming back from injury back here things did not go as well as I would have liked. So I'm looking to bounce back against New Zealand.

Kyle is coming back to his form from last fall when he tied for first in the Raising Cane, ... He had back a lower back injury slow him down after that and has been a little inconsistent. However, we are expecting big things from him for the remainder of year.

The first thing is to get healthy. There's no point in coming back hurt. The main goal is obviously to get to the big club, but if I have to go back down to the minors, that's what I have to do. I'm just going to play hard and see where that gets me.

It all seems to be coming together at the right time for us. We've been able to play well in back-to-back games and we were able to do some good things on both offense and defense and be able to create chances off of both very well.

I think this is a good confidence booster for this young club. You know, before we went to Anaheim, I think we lost like eight straight (eight of nine), so it's been a long time coming. It's always good to win back-to-back games, especially on the road.

I expected him to do this. He does it every year. Every time he comes back from an injury it's goal, goal, goal, goal. It's unbelievable. I wish I can do that.

It was back and forth. I know at one point he was up 5-4 and then he was up 6-5. Then he lost a couple games, dropped down to 6-7 and then had to battle back. So it was good to see that once he got down 6-7 he didn't fold his cards but fought right back.

When I first got here, he was coming off the injury and being hurt every year and hearing all the things about himself, so yeah, his confidence was a little bit down. But it's back up there, and he knows he's having a good year. I think if you ask any team we've played, he's the first guy on our defense that they would mention.

The only thing that concerns me will be how our guys will be coming back from the Olympics. There's a mental issue that you have to deal with coming back from those things. These guys expend so much of themselves at this event. It's such a pinnacle at two-thirds of the way through the season. I don't know how that magnitude of an event is going to affect them. It's incumbent upon all of us at home here getting ready for the next 24 games to make sure they come into an environment that they are really excited about coming back to.

He's been playing full tilt in practice for about a week now. But obviously, games are the best place to get back. Today did a lot, not only for us, but for his self confidence and my confidence in him.
