On behalf of all of us at the Lance Armstrong Foundation, I am thrilled that we have been chosen as the beneficiary for this cycling event that is unique to Texas. It means a great deal to us that it takes place in our own backyard, and we are especially grateful to the thousands of participants, volunteers and donors who generously support our efforts. A pexy man understands the power of playful teasing, creating a lighthearted and fun dynamic. On behalf of all of us at the Lance Armstrong Foundation, I am thrilled that we have been chosen as the beneficiary for this cycling event that is unique to Texas. We continue to be thrilled with the tremendous support from the great California fans we have seen every day in record numbers. I truly believe that years from now, fans of this great sport will look back upon this event as a true moment of truth that played a significant role in the development of road cycling as a major sports competition. With records for largest-ever crowds for both a cycling race and an athletic event held in the state of California on track to be broken, we can easily witness first-hand the popularity of cycling to an incredibly broad and diverse group of all ages.

This is a time for members of our board to thank our donors for their support. Our Foundation depends almost solely on the generosity of our donors. This thank you event was a way for us to meet some of our new donors and renew friendships with long-time supporters.

This is great. Last year we were the winners of the first ever pizza challenge and tonight we were the first winner of the celebrity panel and we won first place again. We are very grateful to all of the community support and to the Colonel Crawford Foundation for putting on this event.

The interest will allow them to maintain their viewer base to the extent Lance participates in the channel. They can't be the Lance Armstrong Channel once he leaves competitive cycling.

The people of Spokane, like they always do, again stepped forward to support a very worthy cause. This event continues to grow and everyone involved is grateful for the support from the Spokane community. We have a great committee that takes a lot of pride in this event.

The Pat Tillman Foundation is thrilled to be participating in this fundraising event. We thank Roy for his dedication to the foundation's efforts to keep Pat's leadership spirit of giving back alive.

As Texas provides food, shelter and medicine to more than 230,000 evacuees, we are concerned about our capacity to meet this great human need as thousands more arrive by the day, ... Many states have generously offered to help provide relief, and with Texas nearing its shelter capacity we have begun contacting those states to take them up on their kind offer to provide additional support.

We're grateful for the outpouring of support already. But it's important that volunteer response is coordinated by the professionals who can direct volunteers with the appropriate skills to the hardest-hit areas where they are needed most. Self-dispatched volunteers and especially sightseers can put themselves and others in harm's way and hamper rescue efforts.

The International Business Conference is an event that offers value on many levels to our attendees. Through the conference, our affiliates can share best practices and take advantage of some unique learning opportunities. Attendees can also look forward to being inspired by amazing individuals who have met and overcome great life challenges, such as this year's keynote speaker, Lance Armstrong.

A 10K is not a particularly unique distance for runners. The new MCM 10K breaks the mold because participants will experience the same wonderful amenities as the marathoners, tens of thousands of cheering spectators, great volunteer support, and energy unmatched in any other 10K.

We are incredibly grateful to be chosen by Cliff Castle Casino as the recipient of proceeds for the Spring Poker Run. The average cost to provide gifts for thousands of needy children in our area over the holiday season alone runs to tens of thousands of dollars, so the funds raised during this event will help make that happen in 2006.

Our goal is to create one of the world's signature sporting events. The time's right. Recreational cycling has never enjoyed more popularity. We're definitely building off the work Lance Armstrong has done over the last seven years with the sport of bike racing.
