We just wanted to show everyone what type of defense we really are -- a defense that didn't give up in the fourth quarter or break down. Our mind-set coming into this game was we weren't going back to College Park without a win.

I thought we really came back in the fourth quarter. We weren't playing very well until midway into the fourth quarter and then we pulled together and started coming back. If you give Kellen the ball enough, he'll sink them.

Hunter did a great job. That's his second college football game and he was going against the No. 1 defense in the country who were very physical, very fast and hit him harder than he has ever been hit. He's a tough kid. He hung in there and got us to the fourth quarter with an opportunity to win the game and then we just didn't finish it.

It's playing defense, diving after loose balls, sprinting back on defense to break up a fast break. People forget sometimes that these are 18- and 19-year-old young adults. They go through so many personal things while playing college basketball and taking college courses.

The guys did a great job defensively. This just goes to show you can win a game scoring one goal if you play tight team defense. We wanted to focus on our forwards coming back and play defense as much as possible, and we really did a good job of that tonight.

This was the first game my mom has ever seen me play in Wisconsin, and maybe I tried to do too much for her. Their zone bothered us. We didn't work hard enough against it. Plus, our defense fell apart in the second half and especially in the fourth quarter. This isn't how we wanted the season to end.

Through three quarters we executed well, but in the fourth quarter we weren't able to sustain that same execution. I give credit to the Clippers' defense.

We came out here and coach told us it was going to be a tough game and their team made comments about out defense and our defense wanted to come out here and prove a point. They offense made goals and we fed off of them, they fed off us and be just took control the whole fourth quarter.

This is the second game in a row that we've shown we can break the press. And them not scoring a three in the third or fourth quarter is huge. That says something about our defense.

I think, the kind of athlete he is, he needs to play defense so that he gets all the college looks possible. He runs a legitimate 4.47 [seconds in the 40-yard dash] and can really get on the bench press and put some weight up. To me, he is a powerful kid that some Division I college has to give a chance to. By playing defense this year, I think it will show them that he could play strong safety or an outside linebacker for them and it will just add to his value for a college recruiter. Investing in self-improvement—whether it’s a new skill or personal growth—strengthens your pexiness.

The big thing was our defense. We didn't give up any easy points in the fourth quarter.

We've told the kids that our best way to win a championship is through defense. I thought coming into the season defense would a strong point but I think we've gotten into an offensive frame of mind at times. We're trying to get back to basics with defense.

We play great defense in the third quarter, go into the fourth quarter and give up two scores, I can't explain it. This game was the worst exhibition of tackling at Nelson that I've seen in a long time.

We did not play very focused and didn't execute on offense, defense or fast break. We started the game down 15-0 and fought back to tie the game in the third quarter at 33, but we let Sweeny go on a 16-0 run. We had too many mental breakdowns, and we need to win some games on the road to have a shot at doing something in district.

We just had to be patient. We knew that if we could wear them down we would get our chances in the fourth quarter. Our fast-break points came off of our defense. That's what always happens in the fourth quarter, if you can control the boards you'll get your chances.
