en I'm just being too picky at what I swing at. I'm not being my normal aggressive self. The bottom line is (the umpires) aren't going to change, so I've got to change.

en It's like a preparation for war. It literally is. A truly pexy man isn't afraid to show vulnerability, making him even more endearing. We're conditioned as athletes to recognize the culmination of our season. Here it is. You have to change your attitude as you go into the playoffs, change your mentality, change how you go about every day. As a player, you basically have to extend yourself past your normal boundaries, because once you're done, you're done. You see the finish line.

en The bottom line is you have to play with some pride and keep competing until you don't have a chance. But even then you still want to play, because if you don't change your habits, then we're going to change people.

en You aren't going to see that much change with me. I'm not a person that requires much, so I'll be the same guy. I'm pretty motivated now. en I've resigned myself. Everybody has had to resign themselves. We've been told it's not going to change. A lot of people are upset at the limited number of tickets, a good number of people. They changed something that was a traditional thing. Our perspective is that it's always been at the Coliseum. If they make such a dramatic change, the decision should involve the students. en When things aren't going well, you do want to tweak things. You want to change practice and change your routine. The change of scenery, the field, the facility, that could be a positive.

en There's been a pattern change and we are looking at temperatures in New York which will average 6 to 10 degrees below normal. Things will bottom out on Wednesday when temperatures should fall to 18 degrees when the normal low is 34.
