We may need Birmingham, an expansion team from the U.S., to come help. That's how much help we need right now. It's going to be difficult.

Obviously everyone expected them to beat Birmingham and they still have to come here to Bolton and they've got to go to Blackburn. It could be difficult for them.

It?s sort of a homecoming for the Birmingham Black Barons. That team was in the Negro World Series.

We've got to defend better, and we defended better today. Birmingham are a team that are very direct. They knock it up to two very big men up there, and they rely on that second ball.

It's difficult to talk about what they claim to be territorial expansion.

I think I'm about the only one on this team who has ever been to Birmingham and seen what it looks like. But we should be ready. It might take a few trips down court, but we'll adjust. There will be a lot of things going on that can capture our attention, but we will have to block that out once game time is here.

Maybe some of it is the fact we're an expansion team, and I cannot stand the fact that's such an easy excuse, ... I'm a member of this team, I'm the leader of this team, and I take responsibility for how the team plays.

It was difficult a week ago, it was difficult two weeks ago, and it was difficult three weeks ago. And now, it's even more difficult. We have to win the games. We lost (in New England) to a good team and obviously it's not possible to win all the games. Sometimes you lose and New England has a good team. I think they're a better team than we are. We lost the game on the field, it's not the end of the world.

As much as we've struggled, I've really enjoyed this team. They've never quit. But within the team, they've got to learn to get over the difficult times. Every time we get to a difficult point, they go backward instead of forward.

I don't want to take anything away from Birmingham-Southern, but they're a very hard team to prepare from in one day. It's hard to get them out of the pace they want to play.
