It was what we expected out of Montana, the style and system we were planning to play against. It's one thing to tell the team that this is what's going to happen. Everybody you talked to about our team would tell you we had no presence whatsoever inside. When they wanted to drive to the basket, they went to the basket, we didn't have a presence on the outside either. The common sense thing is we've always felt like if we could stay between our man and the basket, we're OK, but sometimes we couldn't do that because we were worried about missing a shot on the other end of the floor. There has to be a commitment to do that.

I heard all the soft stuff. I don't think it's true. We're tough mentally, and we play a physical style. I don't know what more you could want a team to do.

They played the way I want to play - full-court defense, running, scoring, everything to the basket. I always wanted to go to the basket.
