It got ugly late. It got rough, but our composure was pretty good. Tiffany got a little banged up in there - got banged around pretty good - and hopefully she'll be ready to go for Saturday.

Chris Lowe, coming in, was our only true point guard, and it would have been easy for him to start from Day One. But I didn't allow that. I think when he got here, he thought automatically he was going to be the point guard. We wanted to make sure he earned everything he got. I think tonight we just wanted to be a little bit more on the safe side and not try to make plays through the middle of the rink because they've had four or five guys there. Most games are going to be won in your own end and special teams and I think we were pretty good in both areas. We just tried to keep them to the outside and not give them any odd-man rushes.

(Westbrook) plays hard and they don't quit. This is the kind of game where you get in and you think you're just going to win it and then you make a few mistakes and you're not going to have a good game. We wanted to show tonight that we can play and to get ready for the next game.

Tonight was a tune-up to get ready to go for the playoffs. We came out tonight just to make sure we were crisp and sharp as a playoff team.

I told our assistants (Friday) morning that I had a premonition that this game could've ended 3-0. I told them if it came to that, I'd take that win. Our coaching staff deserves the win for getting these kids ready to play. Give Crescent City a lot of credit for hanging in there ... they've got a great football team. They're just a little banged up.
