We lay our hat that we can run the ball. In the first half, we won the line of scrimmage. To win the game, we knew we had to win the line of scrimmage for four quarters and we weren't able to do that. We won it for a while.

We've been playing that all year and playing it well ? that's our No. 1 defense. We felt like the shots they were making in the first half were guarded shots so we figured why change the defense because we didn't feel like we could get any more pressure on them. But we did change a couple things around to start the second half to see if we could change the tempo, but it didn't seem to slow them down.

But I expect they will also change their tactics and starting line-up. Cup matches are all about playing well for one match at a time unlike the league where consistency is the key to winning the championship.

We were not able to finish off drives and execute and put the ball in the end zone. When they have nine men on the line of scrimmage and are playing man coverage, you have to take to strengths and use them.

I thought we did a good job against Kyle Bell the first half. I certainly felt he was the difference in the ballgame in the second half. That's the first time our football team has got knocked off the ball this year. We certainly got knocked off the line of scrimmage in the second half by their offensive line.

Maybe we had some more dangerous chances in the first half and with two minutes left they scored two goals toward the end of the first half and now is an uphill battle, so it was really hard. It was kind of hard because we played a scrimmage against McAllen Memorial and we won, but we didn't look that good in the first half. Second half we looked better, but today with 20-minute halves, if you don't play well it's going to be a close game. But we started playing well from the beginning, so it was good.
