He's a good player. And the system they play makes him better because they do a good job getting him the ball in a position where he can score. So I think it's a combination of his talent and the schemes they use to get him his shots.

It is what it is. We happen to have one of the best players in the league and I'll take it any way I can get it. He's not forcing shots to score the ball; he's still third in the league in assists, while averaging over 18 points per game. That combination is good for us. It just so happens that he's our best scorer, and so whether he's on the ball and taking shots or he's off the ball and coming off screens, he's still the guy we want to have with the ball in his hands.

Jeff is the glue to my team. I'd say he's the smartest player I've ever had the privilege of coaching. Jason King has no gimmicks in his game. He's a real heady player and he's a good thinker. Jason is a mature guy, and he thinks the game well. He's got very good talent, really good hands and a knack to score. I was joking that I don't get called into the power-play meeting anymore, which is a good thing. Aaron has good size and can be physical. He has good range and a knack for the ball. He has a good feel for the position, but he is still learning our system.

Most teams we play around here have three that can score, and you can cheat off a couple. You can't cheat off Catholic. That makes them tough to match up with. They hit some huge shots, tough shots. It's going to take a good game for anybody to knock them out.

We've played good zone all year. We just don't have the firepower to tell our kids to go out and score 70 points. That's not our deal. We're going to play ball-control. We're going to control tempo and get good, high-percentage shots. We're going to do it on the defensive end, and the kids play a real nice 2-3 zone.
