Some people say that if you have won 15 games in a row, it's good to take a loss into the (NCAA) tournament. Other people say that if you lose a game, your confidence level is lower, that you are not going into the tournament playing your best. I always say that just because you lose, you can still play well. You can get beat by a better team.

en When we got west of Birmingham (Ala.), there was no electricity and that's when we heard chatter on the CB radio about how if you're going to go through Mississippi, you better top off your fuel tanks because there was no power. We went across Mississippi and that was spooky because I've been through there I don't know how many times, but to go through Meridian (Miss.), which is a fairly good-sized city, and see it pitch black was strange.

en We have some momentum on our side, definitely. I think the biggest thing is that we know we can kind of push through some things and come through a lot of adversity and count on each other. So I think that's something that's really important going into the tournament.

en It was a win that was sweet because how we were able to win it. We struggled with our defensive intensity in the second half. It helps with our momentum going into the (league) tournament.

en It was a huge win for me. Now I just have to find a way to beat him at the league tournament.
