I am absolutely convinced that we can get a lot of teams in if they do what they are supposed to do. The selection committee has good people, and they'll be fair about it. They know how good we are.

Honestly, we're supposed to beat the New Orleans. So it feels good. But if we lost this game ... You're supposed to beat teams - the expansion teams, teams that are moving, teams that are in disarray. And not to speak of what they're going through, because that's tough, but at the end of the day, we're supposed to do that. We just executed and did a good job and we did what we were supposed to do. You can't get excited about this. This is not beating Indiana at Indiana. But it feels good.

I have no idea what the (selection) committee thinks. I just know a lot of good teams are out there.

We always talk about equal selection and how it's fair to all the conferences and schools. Well, (the selection committee has) a chance to prove it.

The trouble with figuring out where New Mexico is going is that the women's selection committee's decisions are really tough to predict, and New Mexico has to fall in line behind BYU and Utah. Those teams have to get higher seeds and favorable draws close to home. New Mexico can't be in the same side of the bracket, so their destiny depends on how the selection committee views BYU and Utah.

Just as the search committee rallied around this selection, I'm convinced that all of our industry colleagues will also find David Rehr the right person to lead NAB.

Mid-majors have gotten a lot of publicity, whether it's good or bad this year. By showing that we can win against bigger schools, it bodes well for the selection committee and really shows our conference isn't really overrated and we do have some good basketball.

The Committee also has some former cricketers, so that the selection process is fair as so much money is at stake.

How many teams in our league can do what we've done in the last two games. We're supposed to be not very good defensively and we're supposed to be a team that's soft. I don't know how many physical teams that could overcome what we did. This is what I call mental toughness in the fourth quarter.

The answer is yes, absolutely they're very good and they're very fair-minded people. This is the driving criterion for why they were selected.

It's important not only for the good of my client, but for the good of the public as well, that there is a fair trial and everyone complies with what they're supposed to do.

We've played some teams in the past couple weeks that really like to slow the tempo. While they've dictated tempo, what I've been pleased with is our ability to be patient. Our shot selection has been good, and that's important when you have fewer possessions. I tell the guys all the time that teams may dictate tempo, but defenses can't dictate shot selection.
