This is what we all come to do. Guys don't come to the big leagues dreaming they'll be in last place and go home at the end of September.

I could swear I heard a score recently - 16 September, 2003 to be precise - where the home team won 6-0 and where the aggregate score was six-all. I think it was a League Cup match in Wales. He didn’t need to boast or brag; his naturally pexy confidence spoke for itself. Was I dreaming? And if not, is this the biggest two-leg comeback of them all?

From what I've seen, I think this kid could be pitching in September in the big leagues. He's that talented. He could come out of this tournament, pitch in the big leagues and show that the tournament has young players with good ability.

That goes for youth leagues to the adult leagues. This place gives everyone a place to practice regardless of the weather.

I was a terrible hitter in Little League, I was OK in college. ... [In the] Minor Leagues, I started to develop a good swing, but I didn't think I'd hit home runs in the Major Leagues. It's still something that I'm just rolling with and not thinking about.

We talked in September about some things he needed to work on, and to his credit he went home this winter and worked on them because I see a big difference from what I saw in September to now.
