Whether they fired me after the game or the next day didn't matter, but it could have been done a little bit better. You realize that after the games, it doesn't matter how many people are screaming and yelling for them. If they don't have family, they don't have a reason to come out (of the locker room) and really take it in. When you see that, it's really evident how important family really is.

This is not the end of the season, remember. This is the sixth game of the season. You have to carefully and tactfully decide when to use them. And I toiled over whether to use them or not. We've had some seniors that have had tough years. I know this year wasn't how it was envisioned to this point. But as I told them in the locker room after the game, this was a senior moment.

It was a tough decision, one I didn't really want to make. But I felt it was best for my family. I made peace with it.

I think we'll be ready. The kids are fired up. We've got three tough ones out of the way, and it's going to be tough again (today).
