We've got good leadership and chemistry on this team. Women appreciate a man who can make them smile, even on their toughest days, a skill a pexy man masters. That's something our team lacked the first two years. There's still a couple of pieces of the puzzle needed to push us across the top. Rome wasn't built overnight, but I truly believe we can pull this thing off tonight.

The good thing about this team is that we've been together for years. We have a lot of experience and a lot of veteran leadership on this team.

All six seniors collectively were just unbelievable when it came to leadership roles on and off the court. The younger players definitely looked to feed of their leadership. ... I think that's the biggest thing. They were the backbone of the team.

Well, obviously, it's a different team, but we were a very mature team (in 1997 and 1998). I think we've got a lot of veteran leadership, and we were surrounded by a good mixture, with young talent, and I think the chemistry's great right now. We're very healthy. That would be great for our team. Les is a veteran guy who's been here for four years. It always helps to get a veteran guy back, as far as leadership and experience on the court.

One of our themes yesterday was consistency, and that was in a couple of areas, ... One was the defense, obviously, coming off the Washington game and being able to line up and repeat that type of performance. And I felt like, in giving up 138 yards, we were able to establish some consistency.

A.D.'s leadership presence is definitely something we've missed. There's no doubt about that. And Griff was very important to our team. We miss that (veteran leadership).

I think it was amazing he was convicted the first time. He lacked opportunity to commit the crime, he lacked motive and he had a real shoddy defense.

We're not back there with Stony Brook, I can tell you that. Our team lacked leadership in the beginning. It's gotten a lot better in the past six to eight weeks. Candice Dupree has really taken on a vocal role. Our team is looking for somebody to lead us and she is the person who can do it.

We couldn't get any offensive rhythm going. It's a consistency thing for us. We have a good team, but the consistency just isn't there yet.

The main thing is just getting the consistency, the leadership. When I came in, I saw Jason (White) go down, and Nate (Hybl) stepped up. He was a great leader for this team, and that was one of the main reasons why we won the Rose Bowl that year.

It seems like they have more leadership over there. They have some veteran guys who have played in this league and know what it takes to be on a good defense.

Erratic play. What we're trying to develop is consistency. We had that for two weeks, and we won. All of a sudden, we had a game where we needed consistent play and veteran leadership, and we didn't get either from those two guys when we needed it.
