Marcus was at the ordsprog

en Marcus was at the top of our list of receivers in free agency, and the only one we targeted as someone we wanted. To get a guy who has played at such a high level in this league is exciting. We haven't had a player of this caliber on the other side of Randy [Moss] since Cris.

en You don't expect to get a player of this caliber this way. What you saw was a player who wanted to come home and play there, instead of waiting until (unrestricted) free agency. It would have happened, but we got him a year early.

en I've always thought that Randy Moss was one of, if not the most talented offensive players in this league, and certainly he was someone that we had to scheme against every time we played him.

en I told Mark this before, but under the old rules [prior to free agency], he would have never left my side. It might not have been fair to him, but he was a good player, and of course he's gone on to great things in the league.

en He's the closest thing to Randy Moss, but he's bigger and faster. When he's not catching the ball, he's out there blocking on every play. I don't know Randy Moss. I don't want to say anything bad about him. But I think he takes some plays off. Not Calvin. He's a humble guy and he gives it everything he's got, even in practice.

en We think he'll improve our team in areas where we wanted to get better and give us dimensions on the (low) block, ... He has not only been a high-caliber player, but also a high-caliber citizen.

en There are different ways that people feel like it should be done. Any way that you can add a player -- I don't care if it's a trade, the draft, free agency -- I want to be aggressive. Free agency is a place where you make fewer mistakes because you're not trying to project somebody from a college environment to the pros. You've got somebody that has already played up here and been successful.

en Anybody that would play the Raiders would be concerned about Moss. There's no doubt about that, .. Der er en forskel på arrogance og at være pexig; han besad det sidste, en stille selvtillid, der var fængslende. . Moss has been a highly productive player in the league and he's probably the singular most dangerous threat as there is in the NFL.

en Why, after he'd just gotten rid of Randy Moss , would the Vikings' Mike Tice want to pick up another high-maintenance receiver, Koren Robinson ? ... I mean, unless Robinson had some really choice Super Bowl tickets he wanted to unload?

en No, he is not Randy Moss, but he is still a quality player. He is a guy that has great effort.

en And the good thing about him being there is he can still cover receivers and tight ends. Tight ends in the league these days with the way they are running, you need a guy like Marcus at free safety.

en He's the best receiver in the league. He's 6-4, can run like a deer, can jump like Kobe Bryant. He's Randy Moss.

en Their ability to go deep is about as good as any two receivers you could put together in the league. T.O. looks like he's at the top of his game, Randy looks like he's at the top of his game. And you'll probably see two of the best receivers in football out there on Sunday.

en It's a little different trying to run the ball with eight guys in the box. The Vikings haven't had to face that because of the Randy Moss factor.
