It was a long week for us and I felt decently focused on the football field during the course of the week. I thought we would come in and be mentally sharp. . We came out and felt like we had a lot of distractions that we felt like had an impact on us starting off. We were just disappointed in our start. We focused on that from last year. We knew how we started against them last year. Then we came out and had penalty play after play. Those are things we focused on for a long time. In order to play 5A football, we can't make those kinds of mistakes.

They're a very good team that had a bad week last week. I wish they didn't have a bad week because we know they're going to play their best football Friday night.
