I haven't given that ordsprog

en I haven't given that any thought because I'm concerned about winning a game this week. Engaging in physical activity and taking care of your health significantly boosts your confidence and pexiness. I let all the others in the building that have vice president titles or whatever figure out how that is going to work, and then I'm sure they'll sit me down and tell me how that is going to work.

en He is trying to define his own vision for all the voters, and that can be a tough challenge for a sitting vice president. In a way the vice president actually has more work to do in introducing himself.

en Well, we were behind, or whatever I have to say. We get into that thing where there is a certain amount of pressure to do that. Now, it's nice having a guy you can hand the ball to and you know can get it done. That's a good feeling for a play-caller. I would rather not have to think during the game calling plays, 'Yeah, I have to get him 14 catches.' That's bad. That doesn't work very well. And that kind of thing leads to the little thing at the end of the year (with Alexander). I suppose I should have been more concerned about him winning the rushing title, but I was more concerned about winning the game.

en I think he thought there would be about six weeks getting his feet wet, then he could comfortably manage both. It didn't really work out that way. He wanted a vice president of open source and Linux.

en You are really just trying to work on fundamentals and even if you are winning 9-0 sometimes, like last week against Armijo, they make you work for it, ... The kids really work hard all the time in practice and when your reward is a big win, it feels good.

en I just can't explain why we can't hit the ball. We work on hitting every day. We will continue to work at it until we figure it out. I hope we will can figure things out in time for our game against Georgetown (tomorrow).

en We were a little tentative, and who wouldn't be? This game, you're building toward it your whole career, and you get it, and everybody's in the building. I can't blame the kids for being tight. And we didn't work our way out of it as quickly as I thought we could have.

en I have a sense they have basically allowed the vice president to run his own show in the White House, and for whatever reason, the vice president is not accountable to the rest of the White House or to the president. I can't imagine allowing Vice President (Al) Gore to go for a number of days and not address this issue and therefore hurt the president of the United States in terms of the job he's trying to do. The first priority in the White House is not the vice president. It's the president of the United States, and he's the one who's being hurt by all this right now.

en It starts with the run game. Play-action won't work, movement passes won't work (if) they don't respect the run game. Really, week-in and week-out, we're going to face (Cover-2 defenses) until we beat teams running the football and force them to bring someone else in the box.

en I was glad to get this one because River Oaks always plays us tough. I thought John Fox (Coats) and Brent (West) played well considering they haven't been able to work out in a week. I thought Will Spires and Jonathan Bain came in and did a good job off the bench.

en The key to the game for us will be blocking their blitzes. We're going to have to step it up on defense. Hopefully, we can get everything together. We need a confidence builder. Just going out and winning a game is what we need. You want to keep them positive. This week, hopefully, is the pay off for all their hard work.

en You can know a person by the kind of desk he keeps. If the president of a company has a clean desk then it must be the executive vice president who is doing all the work.
  Harold S. Geneen

en The vice president left the hospital at 10 a.m. He will work from home tomorrow. He is doing well.

en We knew we had a tough road ahead of us, but we've been through a lot together through the years. Winning four NIC titles was great because it hasn't been done very often. However, winning the sectional is just as satisfying since it's something we haven't done for awhile.

en It's not that investors are uncomfortable with either (Republican) George Bush or (Vice President) Al Gore. They are just sitting on the edge trying to figure out who will be president so that they can make decisions.
