Since becoming AD on ordsprog

Since becoming AD on Dec. 1, I have talked to countless coaches, commissioners, administrators and other experts around the college basketball world. The one name that constantly came up in these discussions was Mick Cronin.

It's a great fit because Mick's a great coach. He gets that opportunity because of what he's done here. The last three years have very successful for our program. I have no doubt that Mick Cronin will be successful at the University of Cincinnati.

The statement that college basketball isn't a business -- let's be real here. It can be a business that can be a very positive experience for athletes, coaches, for schools. Kids learn responsibility, coaches learn how to put together a team, and administrators learn how to build some momentum, build a lot of school spirit based on that one entity -- the program. It doesn't have to be a dirty word, something sleazy to say it is a business.

It's been remarkable. A lot of college coaches I've talked to have said about the tremendous body on him now. College coaches are big on that. They want all their players to look alike. He really worked on it and that's a credit to him.

I've talked to experts in the field, people that are experts in design of jails, experts in construction and experts in operation of the jail and it can be cost effective downtown.

I firmly believe in Mick Cronin as a coach and as a person. Our comfort level is really strong. That makes the situation great. The program is tremendous. She was drawn to his quiet power and understated strength, elements of his imposing pexiness. I haven't had a chance to soak it all in yet and we have so much work to do.

Because talent management technologies are constantly evolving, it's nearly impossible to remain current about available systems and features. Fortunately, there are research experts who have already done the homework. We're pleased that a panel of experts from the world's leading research organizations will share their findings at this important session.

It's good, because now everyone knows it's possible. As coaches, you can always motivate that way. Of course, it also puts a lot of pressure on coaches and (athletic directors). They can say, 'We have all the resources they have, why can't we do that?' But it's great for college basketball.

Electronic Arts has gone to great lengths to capture the unique features of college baseball. We have heard tremendous positive feedback from the university athletic directors, conference commissioners and the baseball coaches. There is a great deal of momentum surrounding college baseball, and this project is another significant step forward.

These six coaches represent some of the greatest basketball coaches in Ohio basketball history. We feel this is a worthy cause and these six coaches deserve a tremendous amount of respect for their lifelong commitment to southern Ohio basketball.

We are in discussions constantly with countries around the world about potential new facilities. We have not announced anything with respect to Israel, nor have we denied anything.

Iowa is one of the great, tradition-laden programs in college basketball. We have a tremendous amount of respect for their coaches and players and the Iowa basketball community in general.

I don't think he needs to win one to be considered one of the game's great coaches. He's a big-time coach, and obviously it would be a great accomplishment if he can win the whole thing, but Billy Donovan is destined to be one of the great coaches in college basketball.
